Why I run it like this.
From 2018 to 2024 I was Company Director at Outsource2Us, a Brisbane creative and marketing agency. I facilitated the sale of the business in 2024 and stepped out to do the work I actually want to do, on the terms I want to do it on. This practice is the result.
What I learned running an agency is that growing B2B service businesses do not need more activity. They need direction. Direction is what a senior Marketing Director provides. The catch is that a senior Marketing Director costs $150k plus on-costs, fully loaded, and most growing businesses do not have the marketing volume to justify the role.
So I take this small. Maximum five clients at any one time. Three month minimum on the retainer. Roughly four hours of director time per month, focused on the decisions that actually move the needle. The price is $800 AUD per month, which is a fraction of what a hire costs and a fraction of what an agency charges for half the seniority.
I work first person singular. I run the room, I name the problem, I name the fix, I own the call. No agency speak, no slide deck theatre, no team behind a logo.

Geographic footprint
Based in Koh Samui. Working anywhere I am useful.
My retainer clients are in Australia. My workshop clients are increasingly across South East Asia. As of 2026 my first long-term Thai client is on the books.
The work is remote-first and async-friendly, with scheduled calls weekly or fortnightly depending on the cadence we agree. Geography is not a constraint on who I work with, only on time zones for the live calls, and that is solvable with a calendar.
